Anderson
Based on the address and the car, he's clearly not skint, so fuck knows what the apprenticeship stuff is all about.

Fair play to him tbh, whatever the reason. His last contract was a couple of years ago so for all we know he might be clinging to that property and car; wouldn't be the first or last ex-player in that kind of situation. Or he might just want to do something with his time now that he's retired. I know it shouldn't be the takeaway from the story but I'm now curious to know what the apprenticeship is. EDIT: Of course as far as the headline goes he's a bloody idiot. Hopefully he's learned his lesson. Edited January 22 by wormy

In contrast Les Ferdinand was here 2 years, which also seems ridiculous for different reasons
The College Dropout
Football careers can be very short man. Retired at 30 then? I hope he chose to retire because he’d earned enough to not need the money and the apprenticeship is not to get by. doesn’t sound like that’s the case maybe. Dickhead thing to do here
Mahoneys Tache
He sprang to mind when osula scored a screamer from the left. Young Sammy did that in the league many years ago as I recall. Chelsea?

Alan Pardew
Remember when I brought him on and he scored within a few seconds against spurs? Good times. He was shite though - that was the level of players The King had available.
