loki679
And remember Derbyshire's initial loan spell there too. They had a whole county playing for them? Impressive That's why they've got no money, the wages wrecked them.
toontownman
Didn't realize Ambrose was over there! Good for him. Class player not surprised he is scoring there.
Newcastle Fan
Just before we get too carried away, in the 7 games Darren Ambrose has played since going to the Greek top division, he has 5 goals and 2 assists. That's an awesome fact
Guest
Didn't realize Ambrose was over there! Good for him. Class player not surprised he is scoring there. And yet Clark barely used him at Birmingham. Maybe Sanchez would be better for NUFC than Clark afterall.
James
Darren Ambrose is the next Rob Lee, what did people expect?
TRon
Darren Ambrose is the next Rob Lee, what did people expect? I would rather have Ambrose to be the next Rob lee than gosling.
Guest
Mehdi Abeid played for the first 60 minutes of Panathinaikos' 3-1 home win over Apollon Smimis. Former Newcastle midfielder Darren Ambrose scored the visitors' consolation goal. 6 in 9 for Ambrose over there.
SEMTEX
I'd take Darren Ambrose back now tbh. He's mint. Always has been.
Guest
If he's got any sense he'll stay over there. Obviously the pay won't be the best compared to even the Championship, but he's better off doing what he is now, than sitting on the bench of a lower league team like he had been with Birmingham. Ste
Fair play to Ambrose. Not sure if Abeid has a future here but at least he's made a name for himself over there. Plenty clubs from all over the world will now be aware of him also.

I think that says all we need to know about the standard of the Greek league and he's playing for a team I've never heard of, not one of the biggest clubs in the country. Gallowgate Toon
Glad to see him doing well out there. It'll be interesting to see what happens with him over the Summer. He'd probably get in our current central midfield
sempuki
Would play him over gosling Way better prospect. No doubt will get sold in the Summer though.

Guest bimpy474
Another player Pardew doesn't rate, kid deserves a chance with the way he's been playing on loan (ok in a poor league). He won't get that chance if fuckbrain is still here though.

Point stands

He'd probably get in our current central midfield I don't think he'll agree to return. He's probably a better judge of a manager than most at Newcastle. Guest
Is he anywhere near the Algeria squad? Would have thought his form would have given him a shout of going to Brazil.

healthyaddiction
Given the greek league is over with, I wonder if he could be in contention for the last few games of the season.

Bloody should be, especially with spunkbrain using Gouff in central midfield.
