Zak Whitbread rumoured to be signing for Sunderland for 40k per week. Yes please.

No way

Brummie will be getting flashbacks.

Typical MON would be to play him at right back at the expense of actual full back specialists at the club wouldn't it..? God, if this is true it's a brilliant start to their summer transfer activities. :spit:

  Really?

Just told my Norwich mate, he's pissing himself at that, especially given they've released him.

I don't know if it's true. Read it on RTG and they got it from some Norwich forum I think. They have apparently been linked to him before, so they don't seem too surprised/miffed..

I can see a small flame just past Penshaw Monument, it must be the transfer window again!

Spanish TV channel "La Sexta" claims PSG have bid €50m for Gonzalo Higuaín, and Real Madrid have turned them down.

Been linked with a €23m move for Lavezzi too today.

Other names on PSG's summer shopping list, according to L'Equipe: Sebastian Giovinco and Dani Alves.

So he hands a transfer request in and the club turns it down, what can he do after that if he wants out, nothing?

Offer him a big contract. If they want to keep him then they should pay him a competitive contract.

Do transfer requests always become public knowledge? Surely Norwich would have prevented this from happenning if they wanted him to stay, unless they're encouraging a big offer from a bigger club

Not if the agent leaks the info to the press putting the club in the position to confirm or deny... Bit like what happened to us with Ba...

A shame that. I've come to enjoy Bolton, think Coyle is a class manager. Injuries just fucking killed them last season. They'll still have some young quality left with Holden, Wheater, Ream, Lee, Eagles, Alonso and Bogdan.

Lost all respect for him when he shit on Burnley that way he did.

Guess this season is karma for him. I'm sure Burnley's chomping at the bit to play Trotters next season

:snod: Yip, I'd say so. Turf Moor will be bouncing for that one. Always had a wee soft spot for Burnley, great old club, bags of history, would like to see them back up in the PL some day.
