Ste
Figueroa would tempt me if Santon were to leave. Depends on our budget really, ideally we'd go nowhere near any of them.
Mole_Toonfan
Hasn't Figueroa played a lot for Wigan at CB in last 18 months or so? not that it matters just making sure i wasn't losing my mind

Guest palnese
Think he's played left CB in the back 3.
leffe186
They're basically cornering us out of our only market We've been to the party, took the fit lasses and left already. Yeah, and then you took them to the Bigg Market.
AlanSkÃrare
Spurs supporting mate of mine is convinced they're signing Aubameyang.
alexf
That would be highly annoying but wouldn't surprise me.
joeyt
The Independent @Independent 38m Gareth Bale agrees new £130,000-a-week Tottenham contract - but can leave next season for £50m http://ind.pn/16DVIUW
AyeDubbleYoo
From Bale's point of view, why risk it? He could have a career-ending injury any time... sign for someone better now IMO.

Village Idiot
All Madrid media considered Bale as good as bought when Spurs missed on the CL. Credit to Bale, it's a handsome contract but most would've bailed.
alexf
Never thought he would leave anyway as Levy will slap a huge price tag on him.
Ketsbaia
Great for Spurs - you get another year of him, have time to find a replacement and he's not exactly leaving on the cheap.
Interpolic
How many players would Spurs have to add to challenge for the title?
Hughesy
How many players would Spurs have to add to challenge for the title? I reckon they are only 2 or 3 players away. One would be an absolute top quality striker though.
AyeDubbleYoo
They would all have to be available for most of the games though, and obviously Bale would have to be fit 80% of the time.

Mole_Toonfan
Including Bale staying i'd say they are about 5 players away, far too many weak points and squad fillers. No quality LB, lacking in quality CBs Vertonghen aside, No real quality AM or CF and they need a alternative/competition for Lennon.
SEMTEX
From Bale's point of view, why risk it? He could have a career-ending injury any time... sign for someone better now IMO. I mean, he could like playing for Spurs, and he's being offered great money. Which will be helpful if he ends up getting a career ending injury. Guest palnese
They need a RB, LB, CM, A winger and striker, at least.

Left-back and central defender is where they really need to strenghten. Dempsey/Holtby/Sigurdsson can do a job behind the striker. It's a shame for them that Adebayor doesn't care too much, because on his day he can be unstoppable.
SEMTEX
They need a RB, LB, CM, A winger and striker, at least. Not sure I agree they need that much. A striker and a winger should do the job.
