David28
“Yohan’s a little magician.” ”He finds passes that other players wouldn’t even try.” ”He’s a dead-ball specialist as well, practicing every day after training.” “He puts Tim Krul in goal and keeps sticking free-kicks past him.” from Steven Taylor Conclusion: Draw more fouls in range for Cabaye to bend them in. Tim Krul cannit save free kicks. On a serious note, he should be practising corner as well.

Gallowgate Toon
I thought he was a little too deep at times on Thursday, he was coming to get the ball off defenders more than Tiote, it should be the other way round IMO.
LFEE
Has there been a better dead ball specialist in the PL than Robert?... I can't think of one... Beckham? Not for me... Beckham quite often used to have quite a few attempts per game before registering... The famouse England v Greece one was iirc his 13th attempt that game!... Honestly don't remember Robert missing many when going for goal... His corners were great too...

Free kick at Liverpool was particularly impressive effort.
Sifu
Nobby wasn't too bad either like...ah those were the days, our set pieces really were a strong point back then.
Guest
Nobby wasn't too bad either like...ah those were the days, our set pieces really were a strong point back then. We'd even have Viana as well...and of course Shearer around the box. 4 genuine threats that 2002-3 season.

Mole_Toonfan
Any word on his injury? i know he got up and played after wards but we really can't do without him. As much as we have strengthened the squad we really have no one like him.

Lenny
I'm sure people were talking about him being a set piece specialist (not just direct free kicks) when he joined, and if I remember right, his corners were pretty decent to start with. They seem to have deteriorated massively.
Hanshithispantz
He used to whip his corners in when he first came, right on the keeper usually iirc. God knows what's going on now.
Lenny
Surely it's gotta be an instruction, every corner we take regardless of who it's by is floated.
Ketsbaia
This is the best thing ever - Cabaye as guest editor? I think I'll buy it tbh
Disco
Surely it's gotta be an instruction, every corner we take regardless of who it's by is floated. It's not even that, when it's not floated it hits the first man/floats far too far. Mind boggling frustrating. Taking a corner is arguably the easiest task in football. Say if we'd scored the average 4 or 5 goals from set pieces we'd not need to be looking over our shoulder currently. All this French shit on/off field for Sunday, we're almost asking for a piss poor performance and a slack 1 goal defeat.
