Greg
Didn't think a French citizen would need a US visa. Why would him being French make a difference to whether he needed a visa or not? Maybe because France is one of the Visa Waiver Program countries and therefore he is eligible to travel. Professional sportsmen can't travel under the Visa Waiver Program for work purposes. RupertCommunicator
Barton and Cabaye playing through balls to a Ranger who was able to time his runs/finish would be quite good to watch/effective. [/high in Holland] Princess Diana will come riding onto the pitch at SJP on Shergar before Ranger is on time fo anything, let alone a run onto a throughball. Yorkie
So three official first-team/squad players, two of them key members of the first eleven, can't even go on the pre-season tour with us. Great planning, guys.

Yorkie
Ah yeah, probs was. Still surprised we've gone somewhere that was always going to lack a Joey Barton. Always been said that he's been good for the dressing room. Remember hearing that in pre-season before the Championship year, he booked out a hotel and big restaurant in Dublin... or summink. Just think it's daft and frustrating that we've travelled somewhere that means any of our players can't come.

Ikon
Seconds before i loaded the RTG forum to have a laugh i was thinking "wouldn't surprise me if they've started a Cabaye thread and compare him to Charles Manson or something like that"
David Icke - Son of God
Minor offence i think they said that's now been resolved but still refused visa There is no 'offence'. There was an error when he completed the form. Rumour has it he doesn't have a biometric passport & couldn't get one in time to fly out.

Shak
Great news, should save the club a couple of grand in airfare, accommodation and food expenses while in the US. Hopefully this will mean we can afford to have nets at St. James' Park again this year.

I hope so, because how many pre-season games do we have when we get back from the US, 2? not much time to nail down that midfield
