Incognito Posted August 25, 2011 Share Posted August 25, 2011 Very early days, but considering he already has a headstart regarding adapting to football in this country and has had a full pre-season under his belt I'd have expected much more, free transfer or otherwise. Poor service from teammates is one thing, but there's little excuse for a wank touch, lack of awareness, bad passing and little to no goal threat, culminating in Pardew hauling him off early in two games and not even playing him in the other. Replacement for Carroll? Unconvinced to say the least so far. Hope things pick up very soon considering our ongoing striker 'search'. Ramadan is no excuse to not beeing able to run at all. He was shit, had no speed, nor work rate. What's up with him? And by the way, I doubt Ramadan had an effect on his performance today since it was well past the hour where you can break your fast (you can eat and drink) when the match started.
