Dr Colossus
He is not a happy man and in his post match interview it seemed to be about way more than just being benched, not the happy buzzing Demba of last season. But he was the clinical Ba of last season. He said he was unhappy at some things but did also say that he was looking forward to the happy times returning. Seemed more like he's turned the corner imo.

Think you need to relax a bit more about things and stop worrying about what might not happen. A lot thought he would definitely be off in the summer but he stayed. If he was that unhappy about being here I doubt he would muster up a performance like that.
alexf
Easy to forget how good some of our attacking players are at times. We have some class players when they are on form.

Wullie
We've got to find a way to fit them both into the side. They're too good not to.
Skirge
We've got to find a way to fit them both into the side. They're too good not to. We need to find a three man midfield that can allow us to play Ba & Cisse uptop with HBA in a free role behind them, its the only way we can accommodate both starting. They both looked ok as a pair in the second half with some natural width.

It could work, but we need Cisse and Ba to start working the channels much better than they currently do.
Mole_Toonfan
I'd be happy with how we had it before Shola came on and after Ba came on. It wasn't really a 4-4-2 but it wasn't really a 4-3-3 either, we created a fair bit in that time frame and Cabaye and Ben Arfa wasn't all the way back in their own half. Happy mix tbh. I agree, I think we need to go back to the Keegurrrrrn diamond of a few years back and take it from there.
Kanj
Demba Ba @dembabafoot Good night people. So proud for that 1,000th goal. I'm not a legend like people say, but nufc is a legendary club!!!
DJ_NUFC
It's strange, going just by this season, why Cisse wasn't dropped today and Ba was, who's been playing much better since day 1. I think that probably irked him more as he and everyone knows he's the more in-form striker this season, so benching him and not Cisse just shows it's more about who the boss prefers. Just brainstorming. I don't think we'll know the full extent of his unhappiness, but going by that interview, its weight definitely lingers each time he's on screen, like the elephant in the room.
