Tooj
Hoping to be back in February or March according to the latest Chronicle. Like Ben Arfa was last year?
Kanji
Was really excited to see him play and was impressed with his style before he went off vs Everton. Hope he comes back and his injury woes are behind him

alexf
Real shame he got injured just for the fact that he was an alternative for both Obertan and Jonas on either wing. His injury seemed to coinside with Jonas' dip in form. A little bit like how Jonas started playing really well when he had competition for his place from Ben Arfa last season and then when he got injured there was no worry of him getting dropped for anybody. Stu
"Will be like a new signing" - guaranteed that the club will trot this line out [/N-O cliche] EDIT: Would be good to get him back for a couple of months so he can get some more Premiership experience before the full pre-season program in the summer. Ketsbaia
Tiote and Ba will be like new signings when they return. So theres 3 of them already.....who says we lack ambition?
Guest VaVaVoom
It will be a massive boost having Tiote, Ba and Marveaux back in February. Good timing to kick on and push for europe. Marveuax looks a player...Technically very good and has vision.
Sifu
Good news if he is indeed back in February/March. A few games here and there to get him back up to speed and then he should be ready for pre-season.
Colocho
A much better player than Obertan.
Dr Venkman
A much better player than Obertan. There's people who post on here regularly that fall into that category tbh.
Mr Logic
Anyone else consider that Ben Arfa and Marveaux should be first choice over Jonas and Obertan?
Guest neesy111
Anyone else consider that Ben Arfa and Marveaux should be first choice over Jonas and Obertan? Before he got injured I wanted Marveaux playing instead of Obertan. Lovely footballer.

Fenham Mag
In the Chronicle today that he has went with the team to Tenerife and is expected to play at the end of February. Fantastic news. Maybe have him play in the 5th round of the FA Cup if we get through.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Was back doing some running work at the start of January. Hope he's back sooner rather than later because he'll be a great option to have in the middle as well as out wide.
Unbelievable
Would be a huge bonus if he would be available for a significant part of this season. Had not counted on him being involved anymore at all..
EthiGeordie
Excellent news.... With Arsenal, the Mackem and Liverpool March is a tough month...

Hope he's back sooner rather than later because he'll be a great option to have in the middle as well as out wide. I wonder if moving Jonas in the middle on occasions is in mind for a new tactical switch With either Jonas or Marveaux alongside Tiote and Cabaye as a midfield 3 with Ba, HBA and Cisse ahead of them..... They both definitely have the technique and work rate to make it work.
