Elliottman
Would be great to have him back for the final few months, hopefully he stays healthy. We've bought a duffer. You said (or atleast insuated) the same thing about Demba Ba. He said HBA wouldnt play more than 8 or 9 games (iirc) the whole season too. Did I? Yip, I remember have a conversation with you after he got injured in America and you pretty much thought I was an idiot for thinking he'd play more than ten games this season. Fingers crossed for the lad.
oldtype
The way we keep backtracking on this thread title At some point I expect it to be changed to "Sylvain Marveaux hoping to not die of fatal infectious disease by the end of the year." Village Idiot
Thread title makes it look like he's been confined to a wheelchair with little hope of standing right again, like.
Sifu
I see that there's been a change to the thread title. Well, mentioned this before, hopefully he'll get a few games here and there before the season finishes.

SteveMc
Hip? Newcastle have confirmed that midfielder Sylvain Marveaux will undergo surgery to address hip and groin problems in America next week.

SteveMc
The thread title makes him sound like a picture of health. 'Hoping to start running' If I was looking to start running I'd look to have a slow walk first and gradually build up. Hoping is madness, no wonder the fucker is always injured
Fenham Mag
The thread title makes him sound like a picture of health. 'Hoping to start running' On a similar note, couldn't help but laugh at Saylor saying I've been learning how to walk again
54
Looks like he thinks he will be back before the end of the season. http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20120207/marveaux-working-hard-for-fitness_2281670_2602811

ponsaelius
I know it's the risk we took with signing him and we always knew this was liable to happen but it's been a shame he hasn't been able to play. Looked a clever player when he did get on.
Sifu
Hopefully his injury problems are now properly behind him. Looking forward to seeing him in action again, showed glimpses of a really good, intelligent player there when he did play.

Yes and that makes it all the better that we are so well placed and still have this lad and Saylor to return from long term injuries
ponsaelius
That said, he's probably another that doesn't quite fit into the Pardew mindset. Neither a 'winger' nor a centre mid.
Mr. Snrub
Doesn't even feel like an NUFC player. If this thread never got bumped I'd forget we ever signed him.
