Benwell Lad
Any word on his injury? Pards reckons he'll be alright, although last time he said that the player ended up being out for a month so who knows. Heard a rumour he was actually ok and was only subbed to warm up the can-can girls before their half time routine.
Crumpy Gunt
Any word on his injury? Aye, he's had to call time on his overhead kicking career. It'll extend his career at least 3 weeks they reckon.

Rocker
How quickly he came off confirms to me he knows it is all part of recurring back/hamstring problem. Seems like he is managing an injury tbh. Won't be long out but he is at risk of a hamstring tear in the long run. Cheers Doc.
The College Dropout
A couple of months ago, statistics website WhoScored.com revealed that Coloccini had the worst aerial success rate for any Premier League centre-back this season – a surprising revelation. The personal problems that prompted Newcastle’s captain to request a transfer shouldn’t be ignored, of course, but they seem to be affecting his performance on the pitch. As well as the aerial weakness, his positional play has been poor – witness his odd positioning for Bale’s second goal in Newcastle’s 2-1 defeat at Tottenham earlier this month. Coloccini was alongside Vincent Kompany in last year’s PFA Team of the Year – he won’t be elected for a second consecutive season. Good summation of him this season as a whole. How was his positioning poor for Bale's goal? Or how has his positioning been poor in general? That's absolute bollocks.

Not surprised by that at all.
Hanshithispantz
He's always been piss poor in the air, he's great at intercepting balls coming into the box but ultimately he's a 6ft tall centre back of average build.
Ronaldo
I said it a couple of weeks ago, when the corner or set-piece is about to come in he puts his head down. Aerially he doesn't want to know.
Mole_Toonfan
Aye he's never been nothing to shout about in the air, why do you think half of this board and probably the fan population in general tbh has been asking for a quick, strong and aerially dominant bastard for going on 2 years now? AlanSkÃrare
He's always been p*ss poor in the air, he's great at intercepting balls coming into the box but ultimately he's a 6ft tall centre back of average build. Is "always been piss poor in the air" really the right judgement of a CB who was selected for PFA Team of the Year 10 months ago? It's not his best area. He is not piss poor. Wins a fair few. The College Dropout
Well he's the worst in the league in his position at them so... aye he's piss poor in the year. Why was he 5 yards behind Taylor for that goal anyway?
