No chance IMO, he will probably be first sub though. Like i said yesterday, it's impossible to know what Pardew is going to do.

What a boost to have Tiote back though, massive for us.

As much as a boost as in Barton's case (considering he'll play).

Barton won't play, he's confirmed on Twitter that he wasn't being serious.

He only said that "know one knows the team yet" ?

Well ok then, presuming he's telling the truth, i highly doubt he will play.

2004/05: Lost 0-1

2003/04: Drew 0-0

2002/03: Drew 1-1 Robert

2001/02: Drew 1-1 Robert (FAC)

Won 2 in 14 at home. Pretty s*** if you ask me...

Against Wigan maybe

4 defeats in 14 against Arsenal is pretty damn alright.

I've been away too long to have a clue about the starting 11. Enlighten me!

Probably something like:

                      Krul

Simpson  Taylor  Colo  Enrique

Marveaux  Cabaye  Tiote  Jonas

                    Ba  Best

Might be Barton on the right, possibly Obertan if he signs in time/is fit. Vuckic and Gosling have impressed pre-season also, so they may come in for Best depending on what Pardew decides.

If Barton should start without Obertan that he should start despite Obertan having signed - he's a much better player.

Yes, but it's not as simple as that with Barton is it?
