No chance IMO, he will probably be first sub though. Like i said yesterday, it's impossible to know what Pardew is going to do.

 

What a boost to have Tiote back though, massive for us.

 

As much as a boost as in Barton's case (considering he'll play).

Barton won't play, he's confirmed on Twitter that he wasn't being serious.

Well ok then, presuming he's telling the truth, i highly doubt he will play.

I've been away too long to have a clue about the starting 11. Enlighten me!

 

Probably something like:

 

                      Krul

Simpson  Taylor  Colo  Enrique

Marveaux  Cabaye  Tiote  Jonas

                    Ba  Best

 

Might be Barton on the right, possibly Obertan if he signs in time/is fit. Vuckic and Gosling have impressed pre-season also, so they may come in for Best depending on what Pardew decides.
