The Prophet
I think some people were watching a different match like, I didn't witness any 2/3 rated performances.
Jayson
Think this was decent result for our laughable preseason, no suprise that there wasnt much flow going fowards. They havent played together, its not a small issue that can be overlooked. Highlights our need for another striker again. Im pretty content atm. Looked by far the sharpest of our strikers on the ball, with a crisp touch, but didnt really make a huge impact.

Disco
Barton - 5 - Erratic. Drifted around senselessly at times, absolutely dire delivery from out wide and set pieces. Plays as if Carroll is still up front with his crosses from deep. Needs to adapt to a different style. Got wound up by Song and could've got a red on another day. Very fine line between Barton being a massive asset or a massive liability - he wasn't quite either today but was more poor than good. I think you'd be fucked off if Song had stamped on your leg too. JH
Having just got in and seen the replay, I expect the FA to act retrospectively to Song's stamp on Barton. Absolutely disgusting challenge, full of nothing but malice. He looked down at Barton and held his foot in too long for it to be an accident.

Gallowgate Toon
A disciplined performance and a Pards attempt at a bit of self-preservation. It was a good result but they were there for the taking and it was frustrating that we didn't take it to them more. We were excellent defensively, very organised but we didn't try and impose ourselves on the game offensively. We have the right personnel for an attacking, on the deck style but we bypassed all those options today. Can't say I'm too disappointed with a draw but I felt we could have had a bit more. Defensively solid, going forward we lacked that something. Desperate need of a goalscorer.

Miss him carrying Taylor for large chunks of the match then? Exactly. Jonas' work rate was immense. Fantastic shift defensively, covering for Raylor and relieving pressure on the defence by bringing the ball out. Shocked if you really believe Jonas was "shambolic". He was the only midfielder trying to play balls on the ground to the strikers or run at defenders. Edit: Glad to see you weren't being serious

Incognito
I thought Tiote wasn't anywhere near his best . Cabaye obviously will be good when he gets the pace of the English game. Therefore it was no surprise Arsenal dominated the middle of the park.

JH
Think a few ratings are being a tad harsh on Raylor. For a right sided player who can't defend for toffee, he did alright slotted in at LB. Especially against Gervinho and Walcott.

timeEd32
Outside of Colo, Jonas was probably our most important player today. Anyone who thinks he was "shambolic" clearly holds a bias against him.

AyeDubbleYoo
Arsenal an impossibly hard game to start the season and bed in new players, and without a LB as well. Thought the first half was terrible, second a bit better. The atmosphere was awful, hated sitting not in L7. Seemed everyone was really nervous, and the team didn't give them much to cheer about. Obertan looked pacey and enthusiastic, Best showed more than Ba and Shola it seemed. Overall just pleased to get some points against a very tough team. midds
All things considered Ryan Taylor did much better than I thought he would. By his own dreadful standards he played reasonably well today.

eliassenfredrik
Decent match. Neither deserved to win. Arsenal will have to buy a lot of players to finish top 4. Colo BB. And, they're GK is surprisingly good. Also, we desperately need a top class striker. Krul 7 R. Taylor 6 Colo 8 S.
