SteveMc
Bordeaux have qualified for the Europa League. If we meet them at any point in the competition next season, I'm definitely making a trip there. One of my favourite places
Anderson
I wouldn't know how to pick a team from a different league. I've no connection to any other club bar Newcastle, so what do you base your decision on? Basing it on success is obviously a massive no go.

Was just one little ball away from happening in the 2004 UEFA cup draw. Very frustrating
Anderson
Anyway, getting back on topic, it's great to see a club like Montpellier win the league, especially with it being their first one and despite all the money being pumped into PSG this season. Also just noticed Marveaux's big brother plays for them.

I prefer Atletico in Spain as I went to watch them but I did prefer them beforehand anyway, always had a good air of glorious failure about them but then I've been to games in other countries and don't really give a toss about any of those. Segun Oluwaniyi
I watch shitloads of football and there's a number of teams I like to see do well for different reasons, or like watching because of certain players. Would never say I supported any of them though, not even close. When we lose a game it has me f***ing gutted for the whole week until the next one. Notice I said follow instead of support. If you expose yourself to other things, you will naturally be inclined to pick one club in a competition that is your preference. Marseille came to me because someone gave me a shirt when I was younger that I wore once a week. To be quite honest with you, the only team I actually support is Nigeria because that is what brings the most emotion out of me. I am thoroughly invested in the fates of the the three clubs sides I call my own, but it is not the same as with the SE, and it is not the same as Europeans who have come up around their clubs. Need a reason to go back to Bordeaux, an Europa League match is as good as any.

I have a team who I have a soft spot for in most leagues, in France and Holland its PSG and Ajax (been to watch both this season) and I like Schalke (Gelsenkirchen is twinned with Newcastle) and Deportivo in Germany and Spain. Disco
Tom Adams @tomEurosport How are PSG going to get round FFP? AFP reports they are in talks with a Qatari bank over an annual €100m sponsorship deal. So much if this happens. Completely defeats the point. Disco
From last season but probably still fairly realistic: PSG's €125m retroactive agreement for Qatar Tourist Authority “publicity campaign” not standing out at all there.

AFP reports they are in talks with a Qatari bank over an annual €100m sponsorship deal. So much if this happens. Completely defeats the point. That really depends how long the deal is, as in is it €100m per season or €100m over 5 years, 6 years ect. EDIT: Didn't notice the article above, that retroactive deal is clearly bollocks, so either UEFA ban PSG for the 2014/15 Champions League competition or they may as well give up on FFP now.
