I agree and I've been one of the more critical players of Santon since he joined. Some of those comments about him not being a natural defender I agree with and he appears to be very much a confidence player too and one who maybe struggles under pressure a little bit. Thankfully all of these can be worked on, whether we have the coaching staff to do so...I'm not so sure. Yep Santon is a player who this season has been involved in some of the good stuff, but also as much with the bad stuff too. Considering this i would like to see a natural left winger purchased, Santon comes inside and he the player in question goes outside while on the other side Hatem comes inside (when he's actually bloody fit) and Debuchy goes outside. To be honest i haven't seen anything from Haidara in his few appearances so far to suggest he is any better than Fergie or Tavernier at this moment in time, he looked steady away in Russia but i thought he too overrawed in the 2nd leg against Anzhi at SJP and while he may well turn into a good player at this particular moment i don't think he is ready for the first team and would really be worried if he was playing in big important games such as the Benfica game or the derby. I have noticed this as well, rarely do i see him beaten 1 v 1 in fact most times he comes away with the ball more than anything. Concentration is the problem hopefully its something he can iron out.
