DJ_NUFC
Getting to the point where I'd rather a league without Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and Man Utd. Considering how easy it has been for teams like Southampton and even the flukey us to finish 5th or do well, I don't see this league THAT hard to crack. Surely not for winning the whole thing, but it definitely is a competitive league in comparison to Italy or Spain. Especially since Ferguson retired. If we had a smart owner we'd be in the top 7 easily.
Guest antz1uk
to think we were involved in talk of a super league all those years ago
NG32
to think we were involved in talk of a super league all those years ago We are dog ends now, we offer the league nothing but points to other teams.
oldtype
Imagine if he ran Rangers as the perfect owner, backed them financially, hired a great manager that we would kill to have, had them in the CL knockouts and winning the league every year. Just to piss us off
Deuce
They're more radge than we are. One of them might end up killing him. We can only hope any way. I hope they look forward to 0-3 home defeats to Celtic. Don't even joke about that if they get beat 3-0 off Celtic at home he will die within minutes. AyeDubbleYoo
They have loads of derbies every season as well, could escalate quickly.
AyeDubbleYoo
They really need to stop him getting too many more shares, although no idea who owns them now. I don't see any reason they would pass this motion of his either.
Wullie
He won't be able to fuck them about half as much as us. They wont allow it You'd hope not but then look at how some of our fans go on, still just grateful to be rid of Shepherd seven years on. Rangers have been fucked around in the extreme already and he might find a captive audience.

midds
Notice the Daily Ranger go straight for his throat whilst our little fannies skirt around him. Our local journos have, largely, held back and some are still reluctant to have a proper pop at him because they're scared of him.

Interpolic
I think this is a good thing. Now if he could just sell Newcastle United and put the same kind of money into Rangers. Aye it'll be class mate, he'll put everything Rangers earn back into the club, minus 20 per cent. HawK
Nothing will beat the exposure that SD gets through EPL abroad, every single home match televised. There's no way he'd swap us for Rangers in a million years, CL money for Rangers would be worth 1% of what NUFC brings to SD on a fortnightly basis. This Rangers stuff is all in-addition. Guest antz1uk
the only thing that i can think may be good for us is he feels he can make more money from rangers than us, however if it's just merchandising he already has that sewn up, can't see a need for him to own more of rangers than he already does, unless he is thinking of exposure when they eventually get towards the champs league, he likes to play a long game so this could just be the start of a slow process of him eventually moving north of the border. I just fail to see how he would get more exposure up there than down here
LRD
Can't see the SPL being a more attractive advertising vehicle than the PL either. He won't make more money out of their league either. The only question is since he already has the merchandising and the stadium naming rights sorted, why would he see the need to increase his stake and get rid of the CEO? God knows what his plans for Rangers are and how much he would bring them to their knees in order to achieve them.
