Robster
Has there been any mention of when the funeral is going to be ?
Bowie
Still just doesn't seem real man. It's been the last thing on my mind before going to sleep and the first thing on my mind when I wake up since it happened. I'm going to be a complete mess at SJP during the tributes on Saturday like. Interpolic
It's actually started sinking in for me to be honest, feels a bit strange. Some words from John Hartson: http://www.walesonline.co.uk/2011/12/01/john-hartson-gary-speed-was-my-hero-and-i-still-can-t-believe-he-s-gone-91466-29853252/
Adam
"Welsh tenor Gwyn Hughes Jones will perform Bread Of Heaven in tribute to the late Gary Speed before Newcastle's home game against Chelsea on Saturday." http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20111201/welsh-tenor-jones-to-perform-bread-of-heaven_2281670_2533967 Great idea. afar
I hope none of the Sports Direct Arena nonsense deflects from the tributes that will be paid to Speedo, now's not the time to protest about a name change, the pre game should be all about Speedo and what a wonderful servant he was for this club. toonpete1892
Dunno if it's been up but this is for those going on saturday wanting to lay tributes http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20111201/gary-speed-tributes_2281670_2533506 It was moved by the time I walked passed when I'd finished work earlier. Annoyingly it is kind of hidden in the gloom where the old ticket office used to be but there were still people adding things in the 10 minutes I was there, and I can imagine it'll grow and grow between now and kick off on Saturday. I didn't read them all, but there are some lovely messages left by people. Definately worth going out of your way for!

BottledDog
Tribute postponed, his widow wants to be there for it. http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20111202/speed-tribute-rescheduled_2281670_2535244 Not sure why, but pushing it back another week after the emotional build up to it seems a shame. Of course, it's only right that we respect her wishes.
Heron
Would be more fitting vs Swansea to be fair.
Guest johnson293
Tribute postponed, his widow wants to be there for it. I suppose if she wants to be here, its the decent thing to do to put it ( the big tribute) off.
Fenham Mag
If that's what she wants then that's fine.

David Icke - Son of God
Tribute postponed, his widow wants to be there for it. I suppose if she wants to be here, its the decent thing to do to put it ( the big tribute) off. The club couldn't really say "piss off, we've already printed the hymn sheets" could they? It'll be even more emotional knowing she's there.
