And that's not even considering the times Caicedo fouled someone and the ref played advantage for us.

I don't even blame Caicedo at this point, if the ref is stubbornly refusing to book him then why the fuck shouldn't he plough into the back of people? I'd do it. He's immune from punishment

All of which were borderline yellows if I recall correctly

Agree. How he didn't receive a yellow is beyond me.

I've noticed all season teams get away with nasty fouls against us that are definite yellows.

Then the ref cannot wait to show them too our team.

Absolute arseholes these officials.

Schar, first foul I think was a yellow.

I think if it just was a no-doubt auto booking it would die out pretty quickly. Rugby is a fucking weirdo’s sport but they’ve got the referee-player relationship and decision-making process down to a fine art.

FWIW in rugby it’s not really to do with punishment, it’s just completely alien to the culture to disrespect the ref. Every coach tells you from a kid to call the ref sir and that everything he says is fact.

I used to weirdly enjoy calling out the refs back in the day. If you're a shit ref who's being paid to be there then you have to accept that you're going to be told how shit you are. Different story if you're a volunteer who isn't getting paid.

the forest game.

such an obvious offside. not even marginal.

if she flags, then Awoniyi doesnt get a nasty injury.

They get even more shit though.

No reason at all why the flag shouldn't have gone up immediately, he was about 3 or 4 yards offside. Marginal ones I'll accept but this was so obvious that it should have been flagged immediately

serious surgery needed for Awoniyi.

hope it leads to a change in the rule for delayed flagging for people who are obviously yards offside.

and did anyone see that ridiculous offside against the coventry player tonight.

worst offside decision ive ever seen.

I remember that, it was the same thing Caiceido had done about 10 times without getting booked and Schar got it on the very first foul.

Ref wasn't great in general but he started giving them absolutely everything after the red card. Hate when ref's feel the need to do that.

Since VAR was introduced in the PL, does anyone know how many times the ref has gone to the monitor but stuck to his original decision?

I think I can remember just one, a while back.
To speed the game up maybe the VAR should just tell the on field ref to change his decision.

How the fuck did they justify that? Wether it was a goalscoring opportunity or not if you handle outside the area its a red.

Clowns.

We had to deal with Karius in nets for our biggest game in forever but in the final they choose to ignore it

Just last week it happened in the Fulham v Everton match. I also remember Oliver sticking with a Bournemouth penalty at Forest and Villa got a 90th minute penalty against Palace last season even though VAR tried to overrule it although I agree its pretty rare.
