alexthegreat
Was amazing to watch at times v Chelsea. Hes come a long, long way in the last 10 months or so. On top of the balance, pace, acceleration, first touch, and control he also has a hammer of a left foot which we don't yet see enough of. Looks a fairly inventive passer at times as well. How much better is it possible for him to get? Villa have dreadful full backs, can't wait to see him absolutely terrorise them.

Guest VanBarduck
According to wikipedia " Ben Arfa signed a 5 year deal for Arsenal with the fee being around £15 million on August 29th 2012 " , what a joke !
Segun Oluwaniyi
play HBA in Hazard's role in that Chelsea side and he'd do the same. I love Mr. Ben Arfa and it is amazing that he plays for us, but having watched the guy develop over the past three-four years I genuinely think Hazard is one of the best 5-10 players on planet Earth. Not just in terms of individual ability, but what he brings to the pitch on a consistent basis. HBA is in his prime, while Eden is born in the same year as Nile Ranger. 21/22 is the age where Messi really transformed into the best ever and I think Eden can do something similar if not as dramatic. One thing that this scouting team has done well is bring in players that are comfortable on the ball. If we can replace the likes of Williamson and Simpson and keep Cabaye/Tiote fit, HBA can be even more devastating. Currently, it can be hard for him to always affect the game when are pressured and we hit it long. The more composed the rest of the team is, the more we will see of him in the course of a match. Guest Tyson
Menez in the French squad. Not Hatem. While Deschamps is France's manager = probably no future for Ben Arfa at int.level, irrespective of form. Alot of bad blood between those two. Courtesy of .com but a good indication " Despite avoiding formal censure after appearing before a disciplinary panel that met in the wake of some Euro 2012 disquiet, Hatem Ben Arfa has again been omitted from the latest French international squad. However, the Newcastle midfielder is on the standby list, with national team coach Didier Deschamps commenting that were there to be any issue between him and the player then Hatem wouldn't be involved at all.
