Dr Venkman
What's the point? Pardew's contract will still be longer.

Gaz
Its amazing the amounts of idiots in the ground moaning at him and calling him greedy when he does anything wrong. He did more in the time he was on the pitch than Gouffran / Sissoko have done in weeks but people still complain.
Ronaldo
Harsh on Sissoko, that.
Gaz
Harsh on Sissoko, that. I just dont see what he provides really, he does not really set up chances, does not score many goals and struggles with his touch. He is not a winger though so not his fault but Ben Arfa should be on the pitch somewhere!
Robbo
If we don't let him have a run at whoever the fuck West Ham play at left back he may as well lob in a transfer request

He did more in the time he was on the pitch than Gouffran / Sissoko have done in weeks but people still complain. It's people buying into Pardew's shit that him not being able to singlehandedly get us something from a game coming on in the 82nd minute is justification for not starting him. He does drive forward which I like but he does not really use his pace when up against last man. He was one on one with De Michelis today who is slow and got right up to him and just stopped instead of knocking it past him like we know he can. Anyway this is the Ben Arfa thread so wont start talking to much about other players just think Ben Arfa should be starting and especially against the lesser teams. Hanshithispantz
He did very well driving at the City players and he was let down by a slip and his end product. We know he has the end product though, absolutely ridiculous he not only isn't starting games, but he's being subjected to 15 minute cameos when we're a goal down. It's actually depressing. CPL
Can understand why he only got 10mins today as we was on top of them in the second half it was the cisse substitution which baffled me messed up our formation completely

He did more in the time he was on the pitch than Gouffran / Sissoko have done in weeks but people still complain. I thought Gouffrann and Sissioko both played well today. Problem with HBA today was as soon as the ball went near him he was surrounded by 3 City players with nowhere to go.
Ronaldo
Gouffran was crap, man. I like the guy a lot but he's a total lost cause up against decent full backs.
Hanshithispantz
Yet he still found somewhere to go, 2-3 times. His tame shot and tame cross were poor.
TRon
Gouffran's a good little player, but he's not going to provide service to the strikers from the left and neither is Santon, hence we have nothing comes from that side. The strikers generally have to make their own chances.
LoveItIfWeBeatU
He is too ball greedy. He had two Man City players in front of him on the byline and instead of passing to the unmarked NUFC player on the edge of the penalty area he sends a daisy cutter into Hart's grateful hands. I'd be surprised if there was much demand from other clubs to buy Ben Arfa.

Hanshithispantz
He's greedy because his cross was miss hit? Baffling logic.
