Seems to be Pardew's plan B. If he comes on and does well, Pardew's a tactical genius. If he comes on and does crap, it's Ben Arfa's fault.

i feel there is going to be a highlight reel made of his skills in the 2nd half because some of the moments where he was surrounded by red shirts and just nut-megged his way out was superb!

Pardew saying Ben Arfa played his best 45 minutes this season, that he's got a dilemma about team selection next week against Arsenal. Ben Arfa tore their left-back apart. Felt Raylor would have known more about the derby than Ben Arfa so started with him.

Just play the fucker.

Ben Arfa's performance today sould have remove any indecision Pardew has over the right side tbqh.

Does lose the ball far too much but totally offset by the fact he does more with in than all our players combined bar Ba.

He doesn't lose it any more often than the other fuckers, it just gets noticed more because of the expectancy when he has the ball, and because Pardew's drawn attention to it.

He lost it countless times today, but like said totally outweighed by what he does when he doesn't miss control it, pass it to an opposing player, fall over or run into a cul-de-sac.

With Pardew the difference is hes going on recent performances over reputation.

Ben Arfa was poor against Brighton & Blackburn, any other player wouldnt get starts after that. He was very good today, its about that simple.
