KaKa
I really dread a bid from Liverpool this January. If he does end up there, where Rodgers will just let him play, it will be too painful to watch.

Happy Face
He is without a doubt the most exciting player at the club in a decade (or longer). He warms my cockles whenever he's on the field because I know something could happen, no matter how quiet he might be I anticipate something happening. I desperately crave those moments when he does something to render the moans about tracking back and passing as bunkum. My idea of heaven would be if the pair of them could knock their heads together and integrate him better in a consistent team. Clearly.
Guest Haris Vuckic
Play Ben Arfa on the right or behind the striker. He's pretty much wasted on the left. Although I do recall him having one or two decent games there he's defanged in a sense. Given the circumstances he was never going to pull off much yesterday. AlanSkÃrare
I fear him angling for a move if things don't change soon. Fucking Pardew man. He'd revel under any manager that allows for him to express himself.
Ronaldo
Isn't doing enough to warrant a start for me. Quality player, but we're a more solid side without him at present. Unfortunately... Hope you're joking. He's a Shola Ameobi fan, man, ignore him.

Guest bendewar
He'll be away in January. He wants to go to the World Cup and has absolutely no chance of that at the Toon when the master tactician Alan Pardew believes Shola offers the team more than Ben Arfa. He'll go somewhere for first team football, do what we know he can, show his magic and make Pards look even more like a clueless idiot. Teams accommodate special players and they do special things. Sissoko for me isnt contributing to the attack at all and is forever making the wrong final ball or pass. So he must be in for his defence duties. If he wants someone to defend, play another defender.

Guest bendewar
He'll be away in January. Nah. We are deluding ourselves if we think a player of Ben Arfa's quality is going to let a manager bench him because he doesn't "work enough for the team" which is basically what Pardew thinks. He'll be away man. He thinks he's better than Messi, not going to stay because the fans sing his name whilst he's on the bench!

If he wants someone to defend, play another defender. Under Pardew everyone is a defender. Siss and Goof have the creative ability of blind mice. Both in the side cause they are physical and run u[p and down a lot. Sissoko has been run into the ground by Pardew. What makes the whole thing worse is when he makes Cabaye play deep where he stutters. Remy goals have dried up cause he doesn't get many clear chances - one or two a game. Goof has done much better than expected and all credit to him but too often he plays it sideways or back and when he runs forward rarely finds a lethal pass - Siss is pretty much the same but a better all round player. Hatem has to play. For the few minutes we've seen him he has better comparitive stats than Nasri playing for the best team in the league and surrounded by world class players. Guest bimpy474
I must have missed the part where he thinks he's better than Messi. He said he wants to be as good as them and thinks he can be, nowt wrong with that. Playing under Pardew that'll never happen, nor will it under anyone else as he just doesn't have the consistancy to. Not going to slate him for wanting to be though.
Guest DebuchyAndTheBeast
To be fair, the expectations of the two players are worlds apart. Yeah well it's we fickle fans who create all the hype and expectations and double standards. I like Ben Arfa but he's a surplus to our requirements when we already have Sissoko and Gouffran and I don't see who we could drop from the team to accomodate him. Shola was playing well when we were on our winning streak and does offer us something different upfront. So it's either between Gouffran on the left or Sissoko on the right who have delivered in terms of goals and assists.

You must have missed the game yesterday when Gouff got himself in two great positions but couldnt produce the end product. I like Gouff a lot but to say HBA is surplus because of him is ridiculous. We badly lack creativity, Pardew must find a way to get him in the team.
