B-more Mag
http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/4989/prior.jpg Wednesday 25 January 2012 first team news Prior commitment Late yesterday afternoon, Bognor Regis FC and AFC Wimbledon agreed terms for the transfer of Jason Prior. After agreeing personal terms and successfully completing a medical at The Cherry Red Records Stadium this afternoon, Jason signed a contract committing himself to the club for two and a half years and is now a Wimbledon player. Manager Terry Brown said "having watched Jason on four different occasions when he scored in every game, I can assure you we have brought a prolific goalscorer into the club. Any doubts about the difference in levels were dispelled when I travelled up to Newcastle to see Jason and Billy Knott, an excursion I came back from determined to sign two very talented players. I am pleased to say we have now secured the second one of our targets. "Jason is very powerful in the air, a good hold up player and the most important box he ticked was his ability to take chances in and around the box as his record of nearly 100 goals in about 120 games shows. "I am really pleased that he chose us ahead of other Football League clubs and barring injury he will go straight into the squad on Saturday." An interview with Jason will follow tomorrow. http://www.afcwimbledon.co.uk/news.php?Psection_id=2&Psub_section_id=1&Open=6481#6481 Good luck to him.
