Transfer Flops

From what I've seen of Nasri this season, he has been average at best.

Most of Nasri's assists came in one game ( also coincedently his debut) he's been average at best and just disappears in games too long for my liking......

Stats are like mini skirts; they reveal a lot of things, but hide the most important parts.

One of the many reasons i like to watch players myself before giving an opinion of them, Xavi is a fine example of a player where stats really dont show how good you are.

Fulham fan I know reckon Ruiz has been improving recently but he doesn't rate him at all. Says he doesn't look like anywhere near a £10 million player.

Downing for me in terms of this season. Roger Johnson too, poor man's Mike Williamson.

Can't remember anything special he's done by way of assists tbh. Half of those assists could be five yard passes in the centre circle to Silva/Kun who have gone on and scored.

More than that, he's looked poor overall.

CJ's like the WUM who just discovered the internet.

I just saw this gem;

                          Krul

Raylor  Williamson  Coloccini  Santon

Ben Arfa    Cabaye    Vuckic    Jonas

                Best        Ameobi

I agree with that apart from I'd have Smith upfront instead of Ameobi.

FYP.

Fair enough, but I think Smith would work well with Shola.

Really bro?!

I don't Downing has been as bad as many make out. Value for money? No, but a flop? Harsh.

Agreed, plenty of games I've seen him put crosses on a plate for Suarez/Carroll etc. only for them to fluff them.

Chubby Jasons class

Swear he used to be a 'normal' poster aswell.

You know it bro. It's a shame others can't understand why I'd want an England international goalscorer to play in his rightful position for us...just as we're crying out for a striker.

Think a lot of these are harsh, players take time to settle, or find a role. But these days I suppose noone expects anyone to stay anywhere more than 1 season especially if they show a whiff of potential, this lack of patience can only be bad for everyone really.

All of the Liverpool fans I know absolutely HATE Stewart Downing.

As far as we go:

Gabriel Obertan

Sylvain Marveaux

Other than that our signings have been a roaring success, well, apart from maybe Elliot who in his one appearance was naff.
