Village Idiot Posted March 6, 2012 Share Posted March 6, 2012 2nd Die Hard got a lot of unfair criticism I think, not as good as 1 but still a cracking film. If it came out now it would be huge. Die Hard 2 hurts from the fact the script wasn't written as a Die Hard film, but then added the McClane character to use it as a sequel after Die Hard was such a success. Same for 3, iirc. same for the first one as well was originally a sinatra vehicle Aye, the book it was based on was written as a sequel to a book which was turned into a Sinatra movie, but was later on recycled for Schwarzenegger () and then Bruce Willis () I love Hollywood Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Good technique, talented and a successful career, but never a magnificent world-class player as some would have you believe. Bit like Rooney. More like Cantona. Rooney's got 14 CL knockout goals as opposed to Ibrahimovic's 4, he's scored against the likes of Milan in the semis and The Greatest Club Side Of All Time™ in the final as opposed to the feeble Arsenal and Stuttgart in the quarters. And he's won the thing. Ibrahimovic has only made it to the semis once in a team that wins the thing comfortably when he's not in it. I know who I'd rather have in my team in a big crunch game.
