Tbh as i said Santon needs some competition but its not really a priority position for this window 

for all i prefer santon on the left, he can play on the right. if true it gives 3 specialist full backs to cover 2 positions

Well according to Pardew we might not be able to afford a defender because we don't know how much we'll spend on a striker. Sounds about right for a change.
