Dokko
Is easy to say no one should go, but in reality these new players cost a weekly wage and some adjustments will probably need to be made somewhere. Rather it be with a no hoper like Jonas than someone important. Simpson or Williamson should be out of the door before Jonas if that's the way you're looking at it. Plus don't forget Xisco is out of the door in the summer too so that's a massive saving. Simpson, Williamson, are on rations compared to Jonas. Both are probably better at their jobs than Jonas as well. Jonas is a winger with no creativity who has now lost his pace shoehorned into a more central slot where we've got much better players. What is he anymore? Apart from a disaster, he confuses me to his role in the team. Simpson is second in line for Debuchy, willo is only behind a very injury prone Taylor and we still need to see how colo is mentally and Mbiwa to settle. Jonas is the biggest drain on resources behind Xisco. If we could get a fee for him it would be an excellent move for the club.

Tooj
If there's going to be somebody coming in to replace him then fair enough. If there isn't and we don't need to sell him it would be daft.

After Ben Arfa and Marveaux (who doesn't seem to be suited for that role yet) who have we got? Obertan? Ferguson? Sammy? I put them all ahead of Jonas on the left. If you wanted defensive cover, put Anita there. Hopefully we're not playing with 4 across the centre, but 3 up top, hba, Cisse and gouffran. Mid consisting 3 of Tiote, sissoko, Cabaye & Anita. Felling Mag
I agree that Jonas has struggled massively this season and also agree his days are numbered. Would still like to keep until the end of the season though, hopefully just as cover. I don't want our young players to be chucked into the deep end anymore this season. They're aren't ready and would prefer Jonas to get stick than them.

This....and I think he`s a good influence around the dressing room...would rather not be selling any players off now anyway despite our recent aquisitions. Dokko
Honestly people who want to keep Jonas around deserve to watch a relegation battle. Same people who worship Shola and want him manager no doubt.

BottledDog
Pards looks like he has his smile back watching the presser regarding Zaha. Seems like we we've been talking to Palace over the last year but once ManU came in we didn't stand a chance. Say's its a shame as Wilfried would have got more games with us, though that Alex might disagree...
SEMTEX
Comments about Jonas are cringe worthy. He's been shite for 6 months, at the same time everyone else has been shit. He's not ready for the glue factory yet I'm afraid, and even if he was, he's a committed member of the squad and getting rid of him would be needless, especially in a time where Colo has been massively unsettled. It would be insane to get rid of his countryman and give him even less reasons to stick around.
