Tomorrow's Northern Echo - ‪#NUFC‬ close in on signing, one of ‪#Boro‬ big names edging towards exit and column on Henderson's ‪#England‬ call up.

10:59 PM - 31 May 12

If news is actually important, no one will tell you to wait until tomorrow's paper to read it. Between the internet and television, a quicker source would have already exposed it. It is probably nonsense or something you already know.

he has been the best player in the danish league the last 2-3 years. he would be a good 3-4 choice.

Hulk reminds me of a young 'motivated' Adrianno. His goal for Brazil last week (iirc) was a carbon copy of the sort of goals Adrianno used to bang in.

He's not going to dazzle his marker with step-overs & trickery, and finesse. Good pace, looks to cut-in (from the right), and has a powerful shot to top it off.

Definitely not the atypical Brazilian creative forward. But he does have attributes make him a tough one-on-one match-up (when isolated) for any defender. Well suited to the end-to-end tempo of English football. His power will compliment the finesse of Hazard. Good signing.

What happened to financial fairplay? How are Chelsea spending so much cash when it's supposed to be fixed now?

Its fucked up, and it looks like there is 110 ways to avoid it...

It's just that it's so blatant, first transfer window with these regulations Chelsea spend over 50 million or whatever. Annoying.

Ye, they fuck up PL with this shit. But it looks like it wont end either...

Newcastle United have formally approached Lille to enquire about the availability of defender Mathieu Debuchy.

The 26-year old has been heavily linked with a move to England, with reported interested from both Newcastle and Manchester United.

Now, sources in Newcastle and France have told NUFCfans.co.uk that there has been contact between the two clubs over a potential deal.

Debuchy’s former teammate Yohan Cabaye has already made it public that he has been speaking to Debuchy about joining him on Tyneside. The player himself has said that he likes the style of play in England and is open to a move to the Premier League.

Newcastle are reportedly keen on pushing a deal through before Euro 2012 gets underway, fearing that an impressive display could see the defender’s £6m price tag rocket up.

Boss Alan Pardew wants to bolster his defence with the addition of a right-back, as first choice Danny Simpson nears the exit door. Towards the end of the season, Pardew hinted at potentially moving for a former teammate of Cabaye on a local radio phone-in. Debuchy, who recently scored his first goal for France against Iceland is also attracting interest from Spanish side Valencia and Bundesliga’s Bayern Munich.

The Frenchman has played 288 games for Lille, scoring 17 times. He is contracted to the former Ligue 1 champions until 2015.

yes Clyne is quality. Ive watched him a lot since seeing his debut when he was 16/17. Warnock threw him in on a tele game and he did not look out of place. Theyve also been tested Vs PL teams in the past few years and has looked class, especially in his last game Vs Man u
