NUFC transfer rumours in the press

Ince

De Jong

Mbiwa

Sissokho

Would be perfect.  between Sissokho and De Jong we would get what we have been sorely missing through the centre. Still think we are weak up front though. But could limp on with that.

The plus point of the past 48 hours is that I am so dejected now signing anyone would be a f***ing glorious surprise.

If we did buy De Jong i think we would drop our interest in Sissoko tbh.... i know their positions are different but if we did buy De Jong he would likely play AM thus Cabaye dropping back to CM and Tiote or Anita as DM so it would directly effect him.

Can't see us having Cabaye, Sissoko, Anita and Tiote for 2 positions, although if Tiote did get sold then its different.

There's been lots of talk about looking at 3-4 players i personally would love it if those players are Ince, De Jong, That french LB and a CB, would never happen though. :(

Can you explain the reason to get in another friggin wingback instead of a striker? I really don't see it. Actually I'd prefer another CB instead of a wingback. We have several players to cover that position when they return, Simpson, Raylor, Anita, Saylor, Perch, Ferguson, JONAS and whatnot.

Oh, and true story, we ain't signing noone!!  :fool:

If we're as desperate as everyone thinks, why aren't we just bidding for every possible target in the proper position? We shoulda made mayhem by now...

According to our information, the English club Newcastle have views Bafé Gomis (11 goals in 19 league games this season).

Desiring to replace Demba Ba, transferred to Chelsea, the Magpies who come to steal to Loic Remy by Queens Park Rangers are considering making an offer to OL in the next few days.

The Lyon striker whose market value is estimated at 10 million euros would finish the season at Lyon.

Transfers OL: Bafétimbi Gomis to Newcastle?

And if Bafétimbi Gomis replaced Demba Ba left for Chelsea there ten days? Since the departure of striker, Newcastle is looking for a player capable of replacing. After probably failed on file Loïc Rémy, who should sign for QPR, the Magpies do not admit defeat so far. According Olympique Lyonnais and, Bafétimbi Gomis is the new priority made in France of the English club.

Side Lyon, Jean-Michel Aulas keeps repeating that no player is transferable research at all costs replenish its coffers. Whether selling Gourcuff, Lisandro, Bastos and Gomis, everything is good to degrease the workforce and make room for the young. Newcastle willing to put up € 10 million on the table to secure the services of the Black Panther therefore comes at the right time ...

Looking like Gomis is a strong possibility.

Lyon seem desperate to free up some money with a significant transfer.

We shall see.

Be delighted with Gomis tbh, but still need someone capable of playing out wide, he doesnt.

On the flipside some more crap from the tabloids seeing us linked to a LB and GK and jumping to conclusions..

Gomis is not really the one i want as it means 4-4-2 and long ball for the foreseeable future but at least unlike Ba.... Gomis can make the ball stick and bring others into the game while being faster than Ba so he could make hoofball effective.

But in the situation we find ourselves in beggars can't be choosers.

On the upside it would pretty much rule out an Andy Carroll return in the summer.

Well, if we're going to play the long ball then we might as well have someone who can win the ball up top ...

We really just need to be more effective regardless of the style of play.

Utilising the wings would be really important if we go 4-4-2. Debuchy will help, but we really need improved wing play for someone other than Ben Arfa too.

Aye if nothing else he would make us effective at that style, he's a poor mans Drogba basically its just not really the type i wanted us to go for.

But if we do want long ball then he would make us effective as he's very strong, quick and dominate aerially.

Anyway we will see.
