They've really got a chip on their shoulder about our number nine shirt, haven't they?

Maybe if they'd had any iconic players they'd have a shirt that was more than just a number to them,

C'mon man, that's bang out of order to be fair.

Think of all the classic number 9's they've had over the years.

Actually, hold on . . . .

Wait . . . . .

Well, what do you know. This Barca-playing, charming and trophy-winning side is coming to Olympia in Helsingborg for a friendly game on Saturday (4th). Now, I don't have a SMB t-shirt to sport that day, so it will have to be a regular Toon Top. A small sign would be nice to hold up as well to show some decent hospitality. Any suggestions for text on it?  :)

His move to Villa was made permanent on 3 July 2008, with Davies signing a four-year contract. The fee was undisclosed but has been quoted variously at between £8–10 million

Just read Brummie's posts ;D So, so true.

The Llorentre obsession is one of the cringiest things I've ever seen in football. Oh my god. 3 or 4 Prem teams may tempt him but a team like Sunderland will never, ever be anywhere near that level.

Despite the numerous articles in the press after MoN expressed a desire to emulate what the toon have achieved over the last couple of seasons there is next to no debate on RTG. You would have expected him to be vilified for making those comments, instead the silence is deafening from the mackems!!

That whole thread man. There is one bloke talking about it as if it was like something from fucking Bravehart. 'Marching on monument' and 'taking Pink Lane'

For those of us who went to St James and Roker in the 70s, its total horseshit as well.

Post 36 from that thread.....

Seen a load of SAFC 'innocents' getting battered about for absolutely nothing, after the night time game, away to Forest around 98/99?

Seaburn Lads came from nowhere and smacked forest all over the shop.

I don't think that up until then they'd either been involved in or looking for any trouble. (That night, I mean).

And his sig.....

Taking away the sheer hilarity of grown men talking about fighting on the Internet I can honestly say I couldn't name a single street in their slum.

Paid for the actions of fans earlier. Mustve been about 1000 sunderland spilling out the station before the game, 2 trains, 500 on each, never heard noise like it. Police had no chance of holding us in and everyone burst out and straight into the mags, they scattered in every direction. Eventually rounded up into some kind of es cort and escorted through pink lane, little scuffles all the way ending up with sunderland smashing up the waterloo and erupted big time up by a garage where me mate knocked himself out with a petrol pump.

;D ;D ;D Haway man, mods delete that thread before i get a hernia!
