If they have drainage/infrastructure problems they should have made a decision earlier to save inconveniencing fans travelling long distances. jdckelly Posted August 25, 2012 Share Posted August 25, 2012 Unlikely to happen but surely the FA can fine them for not having a surface fit to play on, especially as it's been caused by the fact they didn't lay the turf until the last minute so they could cash in on concerts? I'm a few miles away from the SoL and it hasn't rained for over an our now. Drying up quite nicely. Considering everyone was already there (or on the way), couldn't they have just delayed kick-off by an hour? We have had this since the season we went down, They have a chip on their shoulders, They think they are better than they are, They have improved their team from last season, but they fail to grasp that they finished 20 points behind us last season for a reason, We are the better team all round. I am fully confident that the mackems will be as cocky as ever (Obviously we know they have nothing to be cocky about) It will all come to a head in October, and we will beat them again in their flat pack sess pool of a stadium yet again.
