Why wouldn't they include Debuchy?

Because Mapou can play in different positions. And we can only add one player who has appeared in the Champions league.

Why wouldn't they include Debuchy?

Only one player who has played in the Champions League can be registered. So NUFC can only register one from Yanga-Mbiwa or Debuchy as both have played in the Champions League this season. Simpson, Perch or Santon can play right back. Apparently Yanga-Mbiwa can also play there too.

For Whitley Bay match:

WHITLEY Bay FC have announced a friendly this Sunday night against European side Metalist Kharkiv.

The Ukrainian outfit are in the north east ahead of their Europa League tie against Newcastle United next Thursday, February 14.

The match has been organised to allow Metalist to acclimatise to the north east conditions.

Kick-off at Hillheads is 7pm, and entry is £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.

This ticket prices are to subsidise the cost of stewards at the ground.

Chairman Paul McIlduff said it was great for the Tyneside club.

“They beat Bayer Leverkusen 2-0 and are due to play Newcastle United so to be playing against them is great for the club.

“We will be putting a full team out, it’s a big game.”

A request from match officials has been made that Black and White Shirts / Scarves etc are not to be worn at the game.

Entry to the ground may be denied if this is not adhered too.

Who do they think they are telling people what they can and can't wear to come to a football match they've paid to see.

Always been up their own arses that lot - think they're the Man Utd of the Northern League.

Aye they are,

It'll be tight arse McilDuff's idea to stop any Newcastle shirts being worn so he can try and get more money from people buying Whitley scarves etc.

He's a proper c*** like, cannot stand the bloke.
