Our flight on Thursday morning just misses a train and the next one doesn't get us into Lisbon til 5, so we've rented a car and will be in Lisbon by 2. Getting the train back on the Friday.

Just got my itinerary thought TC.  Looks like a canny trip, shame hotel is out of the city centre but its only 5£ taxi away.

Are you's in the VIP Inn Berna or summit, wed-thurs?

Portuguese police advice talks about the possibility of refusing stadium entry based on breathalyser tests.

My mate had that went he went to watch Uruguay v Argentina, police told him to go and neck a bottle of water before he was allowed in.

Probably a Giggs, but a clean sheet on Thursday and we've broken the competition record for most consecutive clean sheets.

We score almost in every game. At home, only Barça managed to get a clean sheet (0-2). More likely a 2-2 than a 0-0 for example, but you never know. Rubin would be the perfect opponent to break that record imo.

If Cardozo scores, he becomes the player with the most goals for one team. Falcao is the 1st goalscorer in Europa League (Cardozo 2nd), but he played for two clubs (Porto and now Atletico).

Since the renaming/rebranding of the tournament presumably?

Can't stand that like. Bad enough the 'CHAMPIONS LEAGUE HISTORY' stuff that discounts everything pre-1993, now they're gonna start doing it since this competition was 'created'.

I believe CL history is added to the previous version by standard, at least here in Portugal. But regarding Europa League I'm seeing it referred as if it was a different competition, yes. Maybe in some years that grows out of fashion.
