Our midfield seems to be having trouble hitting the killer pass in the final third. Since we aint got a sh*t midfield, the problem has to be upfront!

Wow, some brilliant selective thinking going on here.

Santon's defensive positioning in the past few games may be even worse than Simpson's.  :cheesy:

though at least he tries to intercept fairly regularly.

At least Santon can do something with ball though.

Not likely to be replacing your Captain at half time hey!

Ps: How the f**k do you get selected Captain of the a team after giving two of the worst displays in your entire career?

Thought it would spur him on and it looks like it did a wee bit for the first 20 mins, but still not enough to make me want to scream "Lovenkrands"

Saying that theyve had no chances so can't complain too much. As Venkman said we need to speed it up in the final 3rd and be a little more incisive rather than slowing to their pace.

Brighton just looking to hit it long and catch us on the break, got Perchy as cover for that...Brighton hardly have any rockets up top

Don't think Shola has been that bad in possession. He's static as fuck though.

Agree, also he has won nigh on everything yet because he is comletely isolated it makes him  look worse. Formation does nowt for him either, he is never going to work his socks off like he should in that position.

Obertan will be on for Ben Arfa I bet.

It would be absolutely ridiculous if so. He's been shit for most of it, but he's the only one in the squad who's capable at breaking through a wall of defenders, like what Brighton have set up. Obertan can't beat a man for shit. Wouldn't make a jot of sense.

Obertan's not had a kick lately, Ben Arfa has been out of sorts, we wouldn't need to change the system. Makes pretty good sense tbh.

Absolutely. The things he's doing right aren't benefitting us because of the system.

He'd be the first I'd hook even though I don't think he's been bad.

Shola has been a lot more impressive than Best, he's held up the ball, won lots of headers and looks dangerous, whereas Best has missed two good chances including an awful header after Shola set it up to him on a plate.

he should look more dangerous than Best , considering he's playing upfront and Best is outwide  :fool:
