However, both have emerged from the tournament free of any major injury and, with Cisse playing for most of the season in the Bundesliga, fitness is also not a big problem in the coming weeks. Pardew told the Chronicle today: “The situation with Papiss and Demba is that I am hoping, a small hope, they can make the bench. “The flights are such that you couldn’t ask them to feature from the start. “But there is a good chance they could be involved on the bench.
