All of you need to be smacked in the head. This team just lost 4-0 to West Brom away, now they have to battle in the Colosseum brimming with 52,000 bloodthirsty adversaries. Their African star striker ripped them to shreds. Our two will do similar. Get the hell out of here with this pessimism rubbish.

They are also a side that before today had accumulated the most points in the league since Christmas, or are at least one of the top teams for points. We've done well too no doubt about it, but the tactics today were terrible and have been recently. Our defence looks very shaky to me, every time a team comes at us we look like conceding. It's going to be a very close game, I think we will win it of course, but there definitely isn't room for arrogance or too much optimism here, the mackems are definitely a good side now and it'll be tough.

Can't see this being good for us at all. Pardew will probably play a high line and we'll be done on the counter attack like we seem to be every time we play a team with some pace. Raylor will start because Pardew will think he's popular with the fans. Mclean against Simpson is going to be painful to watch, he'll tear him a new one.

I fear a loss I really do. If they score first i think we could be fucked.

This is one game by the way where I couldn't give a fuck about the performance. 3 points please is all I care about.
