Romain Amalfitano joins Dijon permanently for an undisclosed fee

Has looked better than Gosling and Abeid in the few cameos he has made. Can actually dribble and looks like he has creativity, which is more than can be said about the other two.

Gosling is a waste of space...would get rid.

Funny old business this. He's 23 isn't he? And we are not giving him a game.

So either we are treating him like a 17 year old for development reasons or we just don't rate him, odd.

How lowly can we rate him that he couldn't even be given a game against Brighton, not even off the bench?

I mean we were pretty much throwing in the towel for that game anyway.

Seriously, even Xisco should have pleayed in that, or be given an appearance.

At least they're both a bit older, and actually have experience of playing full season's of football.

Pardew is just screwing up as usual.

The funny thing is Brighton are not just a championship side, but a pretty lightweight one, they're not physical at all, and play an open game.

Why wouldn't this guy make an appearance against such a team?

Doesn't make much sense at all.

Of all the things to be getting worried about at the moment surely this has to be bottom of the pile.

If he hadn't have been free he wouldn't be a Newcastle player, we took a very low risk chance on him, to date it doesn't seem to have worked out but given that he is young and foreign this isn't a surprise as it takes a while settle. If he hasn't proved it by this time next year get rid for what will probably be for break even or a small profit given his probable low wages.

Its strange that Sammy etc get a chance and not a supposedly more experienced player - albeit in french 2nd division it must be better that the experience Sammy has and he looks a clever player on and off the ball
