Anderson
Would also rather we didn't have to spend all summer worrying about getting knocked out in the qualification round. To get that close and miss out would be stomach churning.
cubaricho
With wins from us and Tottenham tomorrow we can knock Arsenal out of the Champions League places, Wenger must be furious.
henke
If we finish third, and Arsenal finish fourth - who will you want to in Munich? Chelsea. I'd be so fucking happy if we finish 3rd i'd buy Hitler a pint.
ElDiablo
If we finish third, and Arsenal finish fourth - who will you want to in Munich? Bayern. Chelsea not winning the Champions League takes priority over Spurs/Arsenal hilarity.
Stifler
If we get into the CL it would be like all my birthdays coming at once.
Guest Roger Kint
With wins from us and Tottenham tomorrow we can knock Arsenal out of the Champions League places, Wenger must be furious. He was, his half handshake to Lambert was evident of that. He knows finishing 3rd is no longer in his power. 2 wins for us could theoretically give us 3rd. Mental thought! Ketsbaia
If we finished 5th and were neutrals in the CL final, I reckon it'd be best for us if Chelsea win. If Arsenal miss out on CL, they'll lose Van Persie and spend even less than usual. If Spurs miss out, Modric & Bale will go. But if Chelsea only get Europa, I dont think it'll affect their spending or lure at all. Then again, Chelsea are horrible.

Geordie Ahmed
If Chelsea win the CL will the team finishing 3rd in the league go into the CL qualifiers instead of directly to the Group Stage as they would if Chelsea lost in the final? Yes. If we finished 3rd and Chelsea won the Champions league then Chelsea will be given the place the Champions would get, the team finishing 1st would get 2nd, team finishing 2nd would get 3rd, team finishing 3rd would get 4th, team finishing 4th will be told to p*ss off into the Europa League. According to some bloke on Talksport that is not the case, teams 1-3 will be going to the group stages even if Chelsea win the CL

David28
If we finish third, and Arsenal finish fourth - who will you want to in Munich? Chelsea. Easy choice for me. Won't be able to watch the game if we finish 4th.
Guest
Chelsea. Even if they aren't in the Champions League I think they'd spend a lot, Arsenal on the otherhand could struggle in the summer which could help us.
JH
It has been a great season regardless, but today is the difference between a great season and an unbelievable season.
Mick
Win today and we'll qualify because I think we will get something against Everton if we have something at stake.

Wullie
Win today and we'll qualify because I think we will get something against Everton if we have something at stake. We'll probably need to win both games like to qualify, we'd need Arsenal or Spurs to lose a game for a draw to be enough.

The winners go into the group stage, so if Chelsea win the CL and finish outside the top 4 then all 4 English sides will enter the group stage

Carlito
If spurs don't win it's still pretty much as you were. Will be a tough ask for things to go our way next week though.
