They move into the Premier League's top four and will have a close eye on the Tottenham game. Played best I've seen us, second half dealt with proffessionally, sad we didn't go for it but that seemed largely the fault of Cabaye's injury, which I hope isn't bad. Krul - 8 - nothing much to do but what he did do did fine Santon - 8 - played great, great defending, dangerous going forward, hope he gets a goal this season. Colo - 8 - little mix up late on but was usual calm reliable self Williamson - 8 - Justified being chosen ahead of Perch at back, dealt with Stoke well. Simpson - 6 - Was fine but didn't do much - (Gosling - n/a wasn't on long enough, didn't get done for speeding though) Tiote - 8 - Bossed defensively, passing was irregular but was excellent mostly and unfortunate not to have scored 2 at the end, bonkersly Jonas - 7 - Unspectacular did the dirty work, good game. Cabaye - 9 - Spectacular performance, one of the best of any player this season, ran the show and no surprised we stopped ticking quite so well when he went off. Was tempted to give him a 10 (Perch - 7 - Did fine) Ba - 7 - Didn't take his chances and he did have them, was very unlucky, and did a lot of hard work, hope gets a goal soon. Cisse - 8 - Lethal as ever. Reliable. (Shola - 6 - Didn't do much) HBA - 7 - Looked very good first half but went off the boil in second, got a bit lax. He is starting to bring some signs of end product to his decent forward runs. Some brilliant defensive work too. Colo - 8 - Calm and cool as always. Nearly scored. Willi - 7 - The grounds keeper won't have to pick up his turds this week. Didn't shit himself today. Simpson - 6 - Still a weak link, but didn't to much wrong. Swear Ben Arfa doesn't see the value of passing to him when he overlaps on the right. Jonas - 7 - Hard working, he actually soaks up pressure on the ball and don't really remember him missing a pass today. Cabaye - 9 - Wonderful performance. Was Villa away style but with the goals. Tiote - 7 - Didn't have much to do as we controlled the game higher up the pitch. Would have loved the first of his two epic shots to have flown in. Ben Arfa - 8 - Very good day, in particular the first half. Second half we saw less flair, but his work rate defensively was good. Cisse - 8 - Great goal, should have had another. Joy to have in our side. Ba - 7 - Unlucky not to score, much better from him today. Caused Stoke problems one way or another in all the goals. Dangerous up front, thought we could have doubled the score and it wouldn't have flattered us. Gonna have a good week a work, my boss is a Stoke fan, lol. We bossed it in midfield, we were defensively solid and of course, when you have a front three of Ben Arfa, Cissé and Ba, you just know that we would create chances.
