Colo. What does he have to start doing before it's acknowledged he should be replaced, start kicking the ball into his own net?

Not this again.

If we bought a CB to compliment Mbiwa and eased Colo out fair enough. However as it stands, Colo is still head and shoulders above the likes of Williamson/Taylor. He's committed himself to next season and he'll be one of the first on the team sheet whether we like it or not. He's certainly not as bad as you make him out to be, Ron.

He badly needs to be replaced. It's that simple.

We've got bigger problems than Colo in our side that's for sure. Much prefer a striker, winger and a creative midfielder before 'badly' needing to oust Colo. Still happy to have him here.

Didn't he play a season for free at Milan as well. Stayed at the club without salary?

He did, played a sum total of 1 game in Europe for them.

Most know this apart from the dipshit in charge, even though he watched how well* MYM & Williamson^ did when they played together in autumn.

*in relative terms for the pedant in you

^ also needs replacing disclaimer here

Ronaldo man, you're always banging this drum about Colo! Everybody already knows man. It's just difficult to habour criticism for a player that at one point and can still be from time to time very good when you've also got Shola and Gosling on the pitch, Ben Arfa and Marveaux on the bench, Pardew on the sidelines, Ashley in the boardroom, Elliot in the pub slagging us off and a whole host of other things that demand our hatred. Colo's been crap this season, but I just don't have the energy to go any further than saying he's an atrocious captain, is fading as a player with age and needs to be replaced. It's not enlightening, it just doesn't feel all that important in the grand scheme of things.

TBF to Ronaldo one of the many of Pardew's worst decision all season was to break up the MBiwa & Williamson pairing. It was MBiwa's best football for the club and we were winning games. Colo should've never walked into the team at that point, and in hindsight he should DEFINITELY not have walked into the team.

I wonder if this is how Ronaldo came to hate Shearer like he has Colo. Claims he loved him when he first arrived, then comes a point he needed replaced, everyone still loved him but agreed his time was up, Ron despised the fact everyone still loved Shearer even though he was never replaced and the hatred began...

There's categorically no one on here that 'hates' Shearer as a player. Nah, no way.

'Not as good as Drogba/Not as good as Ronaldo' are the usual things I read when it's brought up, but I'd be shocked if anyone on here thought that Shearer was anything less than world class at his peak.
