Guest firetotheworks
It might have been mentioned before but it's seemed like quite a rare thing for us to buy or sell with Arsenal. Off the top of my head there's no one obvious that comes to mind...

Away Toon
Let's hope when he leaves, he says something similar to what Lovren has been quoted as saying. The club has no ambition, sells it's best players, why would I want to stay.
Away Toon
"Look, I'd gladly stay in Southampton if the club had any ambitions, if they kept the key players," Lovren told Croatian paper Sportske Novosti. The player, whose agent told the BBC the quotes were accurate, added that "not even the Liverpool bid" would have persuaded him to leave had England internationals Lambert, Lallana and Shaw stayed. sempuki
Rumours on Twitter this has already gone through. Even if it hasn't he will obviously leave and probably soon. Question is, will we sign a replacement?
Ste
It'll be Jenkinson on loan or we just shift Santon to right back with Ryan Taylor as cover.
sempuki
It'll be Jenkinson on loan or we just shift Santon to right back with Ryan Taylor as cover. Don't want Jenkinson. Would probably prefer Santon at RB and Haidara or even Colback at LB. I am sure we will take the cheapest option.
Leazes1986
We will replace him if there's someone available at a good price who has the potential to be sold for a tidy profit in the future. That's the rule under Ashley. It's not that he won't spend money, he will spend it if he is as sure as he can be that a signing will make him money in the future. mrmojorisin75
look on the bright side lads, the longer we drag out an agreement on this the more it distracts everyone from the 2 strikers we need to buy in order to score any goals next season

mrmojorisin75
But think of the £40k a week we're splashing out on him. hadn't thought of that, he's doing absolutely fuck all to earn it just now either, what is this a charity?
Jesse Pinkman
Don't blame him for moving at all.. Still going to sting to see him in an Arsenal shirt winning the league cup and fourth place trophy next season.

Memphis
People who get excited about a transfer fee in either direction astound me. It's not as if you get a refund on your season ticket if the fee for an outgoing player is huge. And it's certainly not as if that money gets reinvested at a 100% rate (we're lucky if it's a 5% rate). So who gives a shit if you get 8m or 80m? We're losing another quality player and replacing him with no one -- and that holds true until we see Aurier or Janmaat or fucking Jenkinson holding up a shirt. KaKa
Remember that long, frustrating summer spent tracking Debuchy’s movements? Mike Ashley had needed to be convinced by Graham Carr and Derek Llambias of the sell-on value of a 26-year-old who would be given a five-year contract. Eventually he relented. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/mark-douglas-mathieu-debuchys-impending-7383638 Interesting, explains why it took so long to get him, and we wouldn't pay a penny more. Also explains why we are so quick to sell. Big Mike has to be the tightest person walking this Earth. My goodness.
