Liverpool vs Spurs on ESPN now

So they both go half way around the world to play each other instead of playing some local teams?

It's situations like these that makes people think the 39th game might be a good idea.

City Vs Arse as well.

It's a liberty, the same with that Premier league Asia trophy thing as well. Fans don't want you to play the same teams in pre-season as the teams you will play week in week out.

Not exactly like. They have both played games against American sides.

Baltimore doesn't have any team, and they wouldn't fill the stadium with MLS teams.

What the fuck are you going on about? They'll get plenty more fans through the door by playing a PL friendly over there than if they played some local teams, man. As for what relevance a friendly game has to do with the 39th game, I haven't got a clue.

Know it was yesterday but spotted this, thought naismith was at Everton now? Did their attempt pretending they could keep all the contracts work?

Only caught the second half tonight, apparently I got lucky. Terrific goal by Sigurdsson, nice to have someone who can deliver a corner too. Otherwise we had most of the possession but didn't look convincing. Starting to worry that we won't have a forward or Modric/Modric replacement in for the game against you guys, which would be a serious issue.

Was at the Motherwell champs league game last night. Accidentally got tickets for the east stand, was awesome

Lost but played pretty well. Sissoko was immense. Panathanaikos only brought about 100 sadly. The empty seats are because UEFA don't let Fir Park use the seats without backs on them

Chant of the night: "Boumsong is a paedo"

Lost 2-0, didn't they. Motherwell would be a great draw for us in the Europa Play-Off; they're not very good and it's not far away, baring in mind the timing of the fixture.

Yeah. Some awful players at Motherwell, man. Tried hard though.

Would be an easy day out for me, I'm up for it :D
