Parky
Lucky boy tonight. Very much so, but I'll take it. Yup.
Dave
More like it. We were lucky with the penalty/red card, but you can't control what the ref decides. Thought we played pretty well and were reasonably comfortable throughout. Good subs.
Interpolic
Played some good stuff tonight I thought, fair do's.
TherealnorthernTOON
Still think we are too conservative, especially with the fullbacks, should push higher up field.

Tiresias
Really needed any kind of win, when players are so down in confidence it's not surprising we weren't entirely convincing, but we'll get there...provided injuries aren't too bad

Skeletor
Definitely got lucky with the red card decision which basically changed the game for us. However the right formation/line up today. Better.

Klaus
The pressure on Pards and the players to win tonight was immense, we did that with relative ease, fair play

Dokko
More like it. From the off we were a different team from the previous few games. Wigan were always going to keep possession well and attack well so no surprise they had some early chances but we rode it out and got in to the game, kept our heads throughout bar some chuckle bros style passing from the CBs and although the 2nd half wasn't the best, it was enough and when you are out of form and lacking confidence that 2-0 could easily be turned on its head within minutes and Wigan have the passing ability to do that. Next game we need to do the same but focus more on keeping the ball and passing it around, to take the pressure off, find and create space while dictating when to change the pace of the game. Think Anita and Marv could be key in that, I'd start them every prem game they are fit.
Tooj
Bore off with the excuses of playing so many fixtures as a knock. What are we aiming for then if Pardew doesn't want his team to play so many games?

Beren
You think we're relieved, the way Pardew was talking it was like he'd taken his first shit in a week. Thanking people. I wonder how close he was to the edge there.
Mick
We weren't out-numbered in midfield, we didn't hoof it and we won. 15 games to work that one out, better late than never.
