Marveaux has offered the precise sum of fuck all and left Perch exposed time after time.

Honestly haven't a fucking clue why he's switched Ben Arfa to the left.

Probably put Marv there purely because he's more concerned with being worried about Pienaar/Baines rather than making them worry about HBA.  Overly negative?

Marveaux is so weird. Some games I watch him and he looks like a very tidy player, others he's complete s***. Might be the lack of regular football in the past years, I guess.

TBQFH he looks good against lower level teams, but looks completely lost in the Premiership. Not up to the pace and aggression of it at all.

Is Pardew allowed into the dressing room at HT btw?

No he's not according to the commentators.

The irony being that Ben Arfa is actually very decent at tracking back these days.

Seriously think we need Shola on.

Aye, think this might be perfect for him. He's very good at making the ball stick to his credit, and it's exactly what we need.

Utterly dreadful performance so far. I'd forgotten how thick Williamson is playing long hopeful balls all the time to a lone striker.

That was nothing to do with our transfer dealings, nothing to do with formations, or anything other than an utterly pathetic and 100% gutless performance by the players on the pitch. We've been awful, absolutely awful, in each and every way we have been second-best and what's worse is they don't look like they give a shit. No effort, no commitment, no excuse. We've started this season really poorly and have looked well off the pace, what's happened since the end of last season? Everything that was good about us last year is now bad. We need to wake up and realise that the season has started, there are points to be won right now, much easier points than later in the season when the effect of all the extra games starts to play a part. We need to grab as much as we can because we might need them later. It could be a seriously long season if things don't change pretty soon.

Neville just did a piece on it at HT saying Pardew set us up perfectly & Williamson was the one pulling away & leaving the gaps. Showed examples, backed it up. Defensively Marv isnt the issue.
