Guest Klizsch
If we lined up correctly to start the game Man U would be struggling big time. We're a match for anyone in this current setup. We just don't have the personnel for a 4-4-2. It's just that simple. Agreed. Jonas actually useful in a 4-3-3 as well

johnnypd
it's easy to ask why we didn't play the same in the opening 15 or 20 mins, but Man Utd were already 2-0 by that point - they're able to sit back and conserve their energy. that's probably the biggest reason why we've looked better - they're no longer in first gear. KaKa
After the ridiculously poor start, quite pleased with that. Difficult to know what conclusions to draw from that first half though - has our style/formation given us dominance over them because it's genuinely good - or are they quite happy to sit on the 2-goal lead atm? Man U happy to sit back at 2-0 in the first half? Did you see what they were doing to us at the start? If we stayed in that 4-4-2 it would have been at least 4-0 to them by now. Interpolic
Oh well, nice pickup in play but game is over. Never gonna get 2 past these. I don't see any reason why not. I'm not saying we definitely will of course, but they have looked nothing special beyond those first 15 minutes and massively suspect at the back. It should be 1-2 at the least already, if we come out all guns blazing 2nd half with the crowd radged up to fuck then we can do it.
SiLvOR
Still a whole half to go yet, if we come charging out the blocks like we should have done in the first place, we can claw this back. De Gea is shocking, put some decent balls in and we'll get goals.
Skeletor
Really wish someone would knock all of Van Persie's teeth out. Nothing worse than his evil grin.
Weezertron
Played great after the switch to 433... http://db2.stb.s-msn.com/i/3A/55F8F7F9372498FED27685B8B8C5.jpg
Shayno
Really missing our Cb pairing. Played well last 20-25 minutes after we switched to 4-3-3 and put Jonas in the middle. Really needed a goal, Demba probably had the best chance from the corner. Still in this but we need a goal early
Numbers
That's a penalty, clear as day, why doesn't the linesman see that ? Aye, he can see Ben Arfa holding De Gay back but not a long hold of a shirt. Total bollocks it is. Exactly...Webb is looking right at it too the horrible cunt. cubaricho
Too bad we had to go down by two goals before Pardew changed the system - but at least the change in system really helped to bring us into the match. We definitely needed a goal there near the end of the first half because we were the better team after the first fifteen minutes or so. There were definitely some positives there but it's always going to be up hill when you're down by 2 goals. Also, Howard Webb.
Kanj
RVP in a classic showing of absolute fucking douchery.
TRon
Basically gave them the run of the park until they went 2 up. It could have been 6-0 at that point.
Guest BooBoo
Bloody awful first twenty minutes. Much better since but we need an early second half goal. Unfortunately I can see them getting at least one more. I hope the club fine Tiote for that utterly ridiculous booking. His aggressive play collects enough yellows without shite like that. If he picks up another yellow and misses the derby he wants to be shot with shit.
Zach
Evra was all over Cisse there. The refereeing is a joke. Hard to spot that tbh The refereeing comment was a general one.
David28
Our team arrived 20 minutes late and they had already scored two by the time we got here. Ugh. Sort of sums it up. Early goal and we can get a draw, though.
Interpolic
Pardew and HIS 442. It's fucking incredible really. The world starts ending in front of his eyes and he switches to 433 to limit the damage. 433 keeps saving him. Yet he won't start with it.
BleedsBlackAndWhite
Why can't we start a game on the front foot for once ffs. Got better as the half went on but ffs you can't give these fuckers a 2 goal start before you start playing.

I was going more for the lino but if the ref is following the flight of the ball (looking at the players its going to as you're taught as a ref) he should have seen it. Dr Venkman
We'd lost this before the first whistle was blown, stood 40 yards off them and let them play their way into it, no urgency.
Mike
I'd take the loss if it means that we learn what our most effective formation is. But it won't.
David28
Some sort of game btw where you'd wish your Joey Barton and Kevin Nolan and probably even an Alan Smith (bench!) in the dressing room at HT. Once again, Pardew needs to find the right words here, as almost alway this season so far.
