Why would he join us, a team bereft of creativity and no future.

Besides why would anyone believe we are trying to sing him when we have have shown no will to sign anyone for over a year.

He'll go to the team that pays the most, i.e. not NUFC.

Aye, it'll be interesting to see. If he does go for the money it'll prove his waffle about wanting Champions League was just that, waffle. (if the team he goes to isn't in the CL)

He'll go to highest bidder - his move to Newcastle was one that he could put himself in the shopping window (if it works out here, great) if it doesn't and he plays well, he gets himself another move to a club who may be in CL/Pay him top money and he gets in the World Cup squad.

Bloody tired of this club being a stepping stone for people. Thanks Mike Ashley. You fat cunt.

Apparently we're seeking to tie up a permanent deal but face competition from 7 other clubs. So unless they're all Fulham that's the end of tthat.

don't be so sure - they're owned by a billionaire who seems to have some ambition

Remy’s agent is Frederic Guerra – a man who is no stranger to the Magpies after holding talks with the club over United’s failed bid to sign Clément Grenier from Lyon.

Back then, Guerra left the room after the Magpies are thought to have offered only a derisory fee for Remy’s services.

Bodes well!

We've already shown we're willing to pay his wages - the main problem is that he's 27 which means we'd have to sell him in a year or two to get much back. For that reason I think there's a good chance we'll go for someone else, but not because of his wages.

Only winners here will be QPR and Loic.

Exactement. Was always going to be the case really.

Still think there's a chance we'll get him, he might just about be happy if we finish the season well. Nobody's at fault really, the club couldn't buy him when he was potentially rapey.

Fulham? They are getting relegated.

So we won't be getting him then.

I think it has very little to do with the way we finish the season, and everything to do with us paying his wages and no really big clubs who are in Europe coming in. Maybe some vague pledge to bring more players in to support him could have an effect? Maybe.
