Ketsbaia
They're boosting depth, but failing to buy a certain standard. Bony and Remy are good but will only get you so far.

littlelunchbox
If Remy went to Arsenal, he'd be a squad player behind Giroud and Sanchez. He's strong and fast and would be a good signing for us, but I think most CL clubs would want a player with a more consistent touch on the ball. I can see him breaking into the team quite easily, him being able to play out wide and up top and with Arsenal's injury records. Remy will find a place in the line up or in the treatment room. No replacement for Suarez, that's for sure. Alexis Sanchez would have been a different story.

Unless all of a sudden the defence improves. Everything was built around Suarez. They'll still be challenging for the top 4 but players like that really do make the difference. Just look at England's game against Uruguay.
loki679
The guy managed 14 in 26 for one of the least creative teams in the league last season. He'll do well wherever he goes.

mrmojorisin75
he's a good signing for liverpool, very good actually, they create lots of chances and he can finish - if he gets enough games he'll be around the 15-20 goals mark imo
Cronky
The story in the Mirror is that Liverpool have asked him to lower his wage demands, and that Arsenal and Spurs have not pursued their interest. This looks like a case of a player pursuing clubs, and not the other way round.
Guest
Maybe we'll 'Owen' him and Ashley will blow their offers out the water.

Super Duper Branko Strupar
Was hanging on to the very slim hope that we'd make a successful offer for him. Though that would mean Pardew would be without a 'bigger' forward. He probably still will be, when we don't bother getting the first choice striker we need. aussiemag
I thin our ITK has already informed us what Remy feels about this club. (Fair enough, can't blame him.) Which ITK and what does Remy think?

This looks like a case of a player pursuing clubs, and not the other way round. He felt he was worth a place in Champions League club and he's proved his point. All our good work pursuing him has come to nothing and Liverpool who finished behind us a couple of seasons ago have cherry picked our pockets. NUFC_Chris
Finding myself not that bothered. Spent half his time on the bench pretending he was injured. Absolutely no fucks from him given about NUFC.
Teasy
Just not bothered really, glad his future is going to be settled soon so we can move on and focus on other players.
