oldtype
Given our track record with injuries, I don't want any part of him if he's failed a medical.
Stottie
Stoke's people seemed to think Demba Ba's knee would explode but its still going strong. We should make a bid!
Guest chopey
If his heart isn't in it then I don't want him here, people are quick to forget he went missing towards the end of last season when he just couldn't be bothered.
Ameritoon
I'll take any decent striker at this point. He has his drawbacks, and I'm not sure how Pardew can handle a team without a target man, but as long as there's someone up there who can score I don't care who it is. James
Don't think we will sign him unless he makes significant effort to force a move to be quite honest. QPR have themselves a ready made effective Premier League striker, why sell cheap if there is no clause?
ujpest doza
Ideal for us. Medical issues haven't stopped us signing players in the past.
Rich
Maiga, though like this one for Remy there seemed to be more to it than purely that.
STM
Would be very satisfying if we signed Remy because Borini didnt want to move to Sunderland.
Dave
Ideal for us. Medical issues haven't stopped us signing players in the past. Bit different when there would be a transfer fee involved.
Jimburst
I presume this is his heart condition, right? I seem to remember that being brought up previously.
Guest Roger Kint
Maiga, though like this one for Remy there seemed to be more to it than purely that. My first reaction. Wonder if Brenda has heard a better player is available and they used this as an excuse. Hard to see what serious injury would have only been found now but guess it will come out eventually either way. Cant see us getting him at all mind, he will still want his huge wages and QPR their fee. Both issues for us even at £8m never mind more.
aussiemag
According to the journo's Remy's wages aren't a problem for us and we are willing to offer him what he wants.
Ryan_Taylor
Can't see he'd want to come back here anyway
Dan Gleebals
For Liverpool to pass on him, its more serious that a medium term muscle injury! Stuck at QPR now then...?
NUFC_Chris
They're after Jay Rodriguez now according to Sky. Getting beyond a joke for the Saints.
Skeletor
They're after Jay Rodriguez now according to Sky. Getting beyond a joke for the Saints. Hope to fuck their crowd turns hostile as fuck when they play Liverpool. Like we did when they were poaching our players a few years ago.
Geordie Ahmed
If his heart isn't in it then I don't want him here, people are quick to forget he went missing towards the end of last season when he just couldn't be bothered. Was that pun intended?
Guest Roger Kint
Can't see he'd want to come back here anyway That was such a given that i even forgot to type it in my post, really cant see it either.
AyeDubbleYoo
Southampton FC was probably available for around the money that Liverpool have spent on all their players this summer.
NUFC_Chris
You'd be livid as a Southampton fan, they've got good money for all of them really, but they've got to invest it back.
AyeDubbleYoo
Selling a couple when their stock is high makes sense, but I never expected a biblical exodus.
Ryan_Taylor
It's hard to see where Southampton go from here if they don't invest. And quickly.
thenige
It's hard to see where Southampton go from here if they don't invest. And quickly. Not that hard. Downward.
loki679
I think they're fucked because a) everybody knows they're minted and b) everybody knows they're desperate.
Jack Flash
They're in nowhere near as bad a situation on the pitch as most are saying. They've already replaced Lambert and Lallana and there's hype around a young left back they already have. Now only need to replace Lovren and Chambers, who wasn't exactly a regular last year.
