He's right, though. Payet's looked smashing for West Ham since pre-season.

Aye, he's a great player to watch

Aye but again he wouldn't be competing with Sissoko for a place in the France squad so the bloke is still talking out of his arse.

Payet is competing with players like Griezmann and Griezmann shits all over him from a massive height.

He's fucking shit, there are countless players in the league that have 5 good games a season and they all play for bollocks clubs. Sell.

Didn't see the game last night but this is bullshit. Shit players don't regularly play for France

Nah, it's not. He's been here what 3 years nearly? If he's had 10 good games in that time you'll be lucky.

He's fucking gash.

As I said didn't see the game last night but I have a lot of time for him. He always tries to create something while others are too afraid to do anything

He tries to create by kicking and running fast. Has the football intelligence of a piece of wood with all of the physical attributes to be a quality player.

Think TT said it, try and flog him so we can buy a midfielder who is actually good at one thing consistently at least.

Is Sissoko being played in the right position, and used tactically correct when it comes to the opposition?

I recall somebody mentioning this either in this thread or another that he is not being used right in terms of which team we are facing (teams who controls the ball vs. teams who play defensive).

I haven't watched a game of us properly in ages so I'm not sure, but I read up on Twitter/here/articles online etc. that he often is not used correctly to his best ability.

My impression is that he "clicks" in some games and gel well with the rest of the team when we face teams that suits his style, but very often he gets into a role that doesn't fit him and that's why he falls out of the games. Like he can't handle a certain type of play?

And if that is the case, he has been here how many years?

Sooner or later he has to learn and improve his overall understanding.

For me he would fit better in a 433 where his role would be an inside right midfielder rather than the wider positions he takes up in a 4231. I think the whole team would benefit from a 433 or 4141 formation, the fact that we could have more of our better players on the pitch at the same time would help enormously.

For what it's worth I though Moussa had a decent game on Monday, he covered a lot of ground defensively and helped janmaat out a lot, he wasn't as good going forward but the whole team seemed off-tempo. previous games he has looked like one of our only attacking outlets, i don't understand the abuse he is getting. i do understand he is not a champs league team standard player and should pipe down with his annoying comments, but for a team that looks to be in the top 5-10 then I think he would walk into most teams..

Where, in Hungary?

Nope, Tyneside.

Waugh Road Services is a big haulage firm round here (bloke that owns it was part of the original Magpie group I believe) and it's pronounced WOFF.

Just like Brough Park is pronounced BRUFF and Redheugh is pronounced RedYoof.
